Fabriqa is currently available as a desktop app. Use it for daily work across workspaces, chats, panels, and worktree sessions.

What you need

  • access to the local repository or folder you want to work on
  • any agent providers you plan to use installed or signed in on that machine
  • any LLM provider credentials configured in Settings
  • enough local access for Fabriqa to open files, run commands, and manage workspace tools

What the desktop app gives you

  • direct access to the workspace, terminal, and local agent tools
  • the full panel layout, including Reader, Git Changes, Timeline, and Usage
  • desktop-specific behaviors such as window management and app-level preferences
  • keyboard shortcuts that align with your operating system
  1. Open the desktop app.
  2. Pick the workspace you want to work in.
  3. Check that your preferred provider is ready.
  4. Start a chat or a worktree session depending on how isolated you want the task to be.

Core ideas to keep in mind

  • work happens inside a workspace
  • each conversation is a chat
  • chats can open alongside dockable panels
  • you can use either agent providers or LLM providers
