fabriqa has two settings layers you should keep separate.

App Settings

Open Settings for preferences that apply broadly across your fabriqa experience. Main sections include:
  • Providers
  • Appearance
  • Changelog
  • Developer

Workspace Settings

Open Workspace Settings for controls tied to the current workspace. Main tabs include:
  • Overview
  • Actions
  • Permissions
  • Audit
  • Diagnostics

Common examples

Use Settings when you want to:
  • configure providers or defaults
  • change the chat presentation
  • tune fonts, notifications, or app behavior
Use Workspace Settings when you want to:
  • point fabriqa at a workspace task file
  • create workspace-level permission rules
  • review audit activity for the current project
  • inspect diagnostics for one workspace only

Practical difference

Use Settings when the choice should follow you generally. Use Workspace Settings when the choice should follow the current repository or workspace only.
