Chat experience

Fabriqa supports two main chat views:
  • Document
  • Terminal Output
Switch between them based on whether you want a richer document-style layout or a denser terminal-style transcript.

Tool detail mode

When you use terminal-style chat, you can choose how tool output is shown, including fuller output or more compact summary-driven views.

Helpful appearance options

Depending on your setup, this section can include:
  • sticky last user message
  • sidebar transparency
  • chat list limits
  • notification behavior
  • font controls for UI, chat, code, and terminal surfaces
  • desktop always-on-top pin visibility

Good defaults

  • Use Document when you want easier reading and scanning.
  • Use Terminal Output when you want density and transcript-style flow.
  • Enable the sticky last user message if you often scroll long chats.
